Place the scale on a flat and level surface, then turn on the scale. Press and hold the M key until the display shows "CAL". Make sure nothing is on the platform, then press the M key again; the display will flash "50.00". Gently place the 50-gram calibration weight on the center of the platform; "PASS" is briefly displayed, then the display will show "50.00".
