About Core Drive Sports

From the Fields of Kansas — One Hunter's Story

I'm James, and I've been hunting for over 50 years.

I grew up the way a lot of us did — chasing rabbits and squirrels through the brush, working pheasant and quail fields across Kansas with my cousins, learning patience and respect for the land before I ever had a deer tag in my pocket. Those early years shaped everything about how I hunt and how I think about gear.

Eventually I made the move to rifle deer hunting, though I can still hold my own with a bow. Big game hunting was always a dream — one of those things that life and budget had other plans for — but the love of the sport never faded. It just evolved.

That's why I built Core Drive Sports.

I got tired of wading through thousands of mediocre products online trying to find gear that actually performs in the field. So I did the work myself — curating only the quality hunting and outdoor gear I'd trust in my own hands, all available through Amazon.

Here's how it works: every product on this site links directly to Amazon. You buy there, Amazon pays me a small commission, and you pay nothing extra. No markups, no hidden fees, no checkout on my site. Just honest recommendations from someone who's spent a lifetime in the field.

One hunter to another.
