This SDS M1 canteen cap is a genuine military-spec replacement adapter that lets a soldier drink from a canteen while wearing a gas mask. It fits standard 1-quart and 2-quart canteens as well as NATO standard 28mm military canteens, and its coupling with a self-sealing valve receives the drinking hose from any NATO standard military gas mask, including the MSA Millennium, M-40 and MCU-2P.
Built in the U.S.A. from polypropylene, rubber and stainless steel, the cap is BPA free and measures 1.85 inches in diameter with a 1.36-inch cap height and a 2 5/8-inch snap height. It is hand wash only and weighs 1.6 ounces.
