KastKing MegaJaws Elite Baitcasting Fishing Reel
KastKing MegaJaws Elite Baitcasting Fishing Reel
The KastKing MegaJaws Elite is a low-profile baitcasting reel built for anglers who want a single reel that handles a wide range of techniques. Its CNC-machined aerospace alloy aluminum frame and carbon side covers keep the reel rigid while holding the total weight to just 6.7 oz, and the 41 mm profile sits low in the hand to reduce fatigue during long days on the water.
The patented AutoMag dual braking system combines a one-piece ring magnet with an auto-adjusting centrifugal brake, so braking force rises and falls with spool speed to limit backlashes and extend casting distance. KastKing LFTV tapered vortex ceramic line guides cut friction on the way out, 11+1 double-shielded stainless steel bearings and a stainless steel main shaft suit both freshwater and saltwater use, and the multi-disc carbon fiber drag delivers up to 17.6 lb of stopping power.

Highlights
- NEW AutoMag DUAL BRAKING SYSTEM - More stable and farther casting! KastKing MegaJaws Baitcasting Reels one-piece ring magnet provides uniform braking force during the entire cast. When the spool reaches peak speed an auto-adjusting centrifugal brake’s braking bars are thrown out, reducing the speed of the spool and avoiding backlash. When the speed of the spool is reduced to the critical point, the bars are retracted, eliminating the braking force giving you longer, trouble-free casts
- KastKing LFTV - MegaJaws baitcaster reels have unique KastKing LFTV (Low Friction Tapered Vortex), funnel shaped ceramic line guides. They greatly reduce fishing line friction through the guide giving you super long casts and also help to reduce backlashes. LFTV makes the difference between a good casting reel and a great bait cast reel
- PALM PERFECT - LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN - Upgraded MegaJaws baitcasting reel, adopting KastKing Palm Perfect ergonomic engineering, are only 41mm tall and much lighter than before. MegaJaws baitcaster reel total weight only 6.7oz on the new model. Main gears and main gear shafts are made of hardened aerospace 7075 aluminum. Pinion gears are super hard manganese brass. Grips were changed from rubber cork to comfortable, lightweight EVA. MegaJaws baitcasting reel lets you fish longer with less fatigue
- COLOR- CODED SYSTEM - MegaJaws baitcaster reels feature unique colors for each gear ratio to quickly identify the right reel for the job. Select from 5.4:1, 6.5:1, 7.2:1, and 9.1:1
- CHAMPION APPROVED - MegaJaws baitcasting reels are tournament ready. 11+1 double shielded stainless steel bearings throughout and stainless steel main shaft offer durability and performance as freshwater or saltwater baitcasting reels. Its ultra-smooth multiple disc carbon fiber drag provides up to 17.6 lbs of trophy fish stopping power

Materials & care
Wipe the frame, carbon side covers and EVA grips with a damp cloth after each trip. Rinse the reel with fresh water after saltwater use and allow it to dry before storing.
How to use
Set the AutoMag dual braking system to match the weight of your lure, then adjust the spool tension until the lure falls slowly when the rod tip is raised. The color-coded side plate identifies the gear ratio, so you can match the reel to the technique you are fishing.
