The KastKing Brutus Baitcasting Fishing Reel is a low-profile baitcaster built around a one-piece rigid graphite frame and lightweight graphite side plates, with a CNC aluminum V-shaped spool, a solid aluminum handle and non-slip rubber paddles. Its 7.2:1 high-speed gear ratio and 5+1 MaxiDur shielded stainless-steel ball bearings with instant anti-reverse suit most bass fishing techniques, while the 10-button magnetic braking system adjusts from the outside to help prevent overruns and backlashes with baits of any size.
Inside, Hamai precision-machined brass gears and an extra-hard stainless steel main shaft work with three non-asbestos drag washers to deliver a fish-stopping 17.6 lb of maximum drag, infinitely adjustable through the graphite star drag. The reel is available in right- or left-hand retrieve and accepts braided or monofilament line.
