Materials & care

Wipe the wooden roller and base with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Clean the diamond and ceramic discs under running water and dry them thoroughly before storing. Keep the leather strop dry and free of grit; use the included eraser to refresh the leather surface between uses.

Compatibility

The magnetic base holds most standard kitchen and utility knives at the selected angle. It is not suitable for very small blades, which may not be held securely by the magnets.

How to use

Place the magnetic base on a stable surface and select one of the four preset angles: 15°, 18°, 20°, or 22°. Secure the knife blade against the magnets, then roll the wooden roller along the edge. Start with the 1000 or 400 grit diamond disc to reshape a dull edge, move to the 3000 or 6000 grit ceramic disc to refine and polish, and finish with the leather strop to remove burrs.
