HORL3 Walnut Rolling Knife Sharpener with Diamond Ceramic Discs
HORL3 Walnut Rolling Knife Sharpener with Diamond Ceramic Discs
The HORL3 is a manual rolling knife sharpener built around a solid walnut block and a magnetic angle support that holds the blade securely while you roll. Its pre-installed standard diamond disc uses block diamonds to remove steel quickly and evenly, making it suitable for kitchen knives, chef knives, and Japanese knives of any hardness.
Two grinding angles cover different edges: 15° for fine carbon or Damascus steel blades, and 20° for sturdy everyday blades such as European chef's knives, outdoor knives, and pocket knives. After grinding, the ceramic honing disc removes burrs and its integrated grooves clear grinding dust for a smooth, sharp edge.

Highlights
- The block diamonds on the standard diamond disc achieve up to 80% more steel removal compared to the previous version. They offer faster results in a more uniform grinding pattern on kitchen knives, chef knives, and Japanese knives with this manual knife sharpener.
- Securely fixed with maximum grip: Developed for an even stronger hold, the Grip Pad on the magnetic angle support provides up to 70% more grip than the previous version. With its ultra-strong magnets, the magnetic angle guide holds even the smallest pocket knives in place.
- For fast initial sharpening: The standard diamond disc is pre-installed on all rolling knife sharpeners. It can be used to grind knives of any hardness efficiently and provide high-quality sharpness, ensured by its durable block diamonds.
- For an edge free of burr: After using the standard diamond disc, the ceramic honing disc removes any burr and refines the grinding result. Its integrated grooves remove grinding dust from the blade to ensure a smooth, sharp edge.
- For filigree sharpness: The 15° grinding angle gives particularly fine blades made from high-quality carbon or Damascus steel a filigree sharpness. High levels of hardness in such steels allow a knife edge to be sharpened very finely.
- For robust sharpness: The 20° grinding angle ensures a long-lasting sharpness for everyday use on sturdy blades such as European chef's knives. The 20° angle also provides outdoor and pocket knives with a robust cutting edge, manufactured in Germany.
